Tattoo
Removal (Quanta System Q-Plus Model B)
Tattoo is the inclusion in the deep skin layer of pigments (ink,
coloured particles..). These particles can't be removed by the
body because they are too big.
Laser treatment
consists of sending a powerful light, selectively absorbed by the
pigment, to destroy these particles. Therefore each colour needs a
specific laser.
Our laser Centre acquired recently a new Nd:YAG Q-switched laser
specifically designed to remove blue and red tattoos.

Most of tattoos need an average of 6 sessions to be cleared out.
The number of sessions depends on many factors such as the pigment
used for tattoo, the number of needles used for tattooing the skin
and the area tattooed where the skin can be thinner or thicker.
Six weeks are needed between sessions. This delay enables the
white blood cells to remove the fragmented pigments clearing the
way to the new layer of pigment to be treated.
Bedouin tattoos in the face is best removed by the Nd:YAG
Q-switched laser and need less session to be cleared out.
The Nd:YAG Q-switched laser can also remove skin pigmentation as
aging spots and solar pigmentation.
